The first ever National Supported Internship Day will take place on Monday 27 March 2023. The campaign is run by Internships Work partner DFN Project SEARCH.
Paul is an experienced teacher and trainer with a career history of leadership in secondary education and central government. He is passionate about ensuring that young people with additional needs are accepted and play a full part in their community, including in gainful occupation.
In our role as learning partner for the Bringing People Together programme, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, we created a series of virtual campfires. The National Development Team for Inclusion has worked as the evaluation and learning partner for the Family Ambassadors programme. Phase 1 of the Family Ambassadors evaluation was completed in May 2023. This report focuses on the challenges faced in the design, set-up and roll-out of the Family Ambassador programme and what the Local Family Ambassadors had achieved and the progress made towards the desired outcomes.
