Change that leads to better lives

Programme Coordinator (Internships Work)

Looking for a change? Want to be part of shaping and delivering life changing opportunities for young people?

  • Commencing on £32,000 per annum
  • Full time, 35 hours per week, with flexible working
  • Fixed-term (maternity cover) to 31st March 2025
  • Based from home with some UK-wide travel

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Coordinator to support the Programme Manager and wider delivery team to deliver the Department for Education (DfE) funded Internships Work Programme. Working directly to the Programme Manager and liaising closely with the funder and partners, you will:

  • Work closely with project team members and consortium partners to ensure there is excellent communication at every stage of the programme,
  • Support the development of, and adherence with, delivery and reporting schedules for funded activities,
  • Support good project governance and ensure key milestones and reporting requirements are met.

You will be a skilled communicator, able to interact professionally and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. With exceptional organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, combined with an ability to juggle a range of demands and priorities, you will relish the opportunity to add value to the work and achievements of the wider programme team.

With some travel and working hours at times outside the normal 9-5, this is an interesting and rewarding role in a flagship national programme at the heart of change. As the programme continues to evolve there is an opportunity to be part of shaping and delivering work that can evidence significant positive impact for young people and employers.

If you have proven experience of co-ordinating dynamic programmes, are able to communicate effectively with different people, and can demonstrate first class organisational and planning skills, we would love to hear from you.
