Find out ‘What does good look like?’ and how this factors into the development of Small Supports Organisations.
Helen Toker-Lester, a member of the NDTi Small Supports team, talks with others about the report ‘What does good look like?’ This coproduced report was commissioned from the Building the Right Support (BTRS) Advisory Group, as part of the wider action plan developed by the Building the Right Support Delivery Board. It includes seven key principles that need to be employed to make “good” happen , and has a selection of case studies that demonstrate good practice.

In November 2023, we heard from Sam Smith, CEO of C-Change, about two stories she has gathered as a first step to bringing a number of stories together about the impact of small supports on a person’s life and what that life is now like.
In May, we will be sharing the outcome of this work, which, as explained in November, will be the first instalment in a living library of stories from people; please come along and hear what it means to people to have support that is truly centred around the person and what it means to them.
