Many family members are contacting NDTi and asking how they can have Small Supports for their family member; there just are not enough Small Support organisations in England to be able to introduce a family to one in their local area.

9 October, 1:30pm-3:00pm / 2:30-4:00 CET
This meeting is an opportunity for family members to come together and think about how, together, they may be able to influence local decision makers and encourage them to get involved and start developing small supports.

To find out more about Small Supports please visit our web pages, watch the video of Mark or visit our Living Library, a collection of stories, audio and video that give people and family members an opportunity to speak about what small supports mean to them.

This event is for family members only, it will be family led, and will we hope be a first step for families being able to have support that works for their family member, local to them and enable their family member to live their best life!

6 November, 2-3.30pm UK or 3-4.30pm CET
The second meeting of a growing community of families advocating for small supports for their family members. If you are a family member and interested in meeting families advocating for ‘better’ then please come along and join the group. This event will be led by family members, include stories of what small supports can mean and the opportunity to think about how this group can support influence on local authorities and health services in the UK.

If you want to join one of our events, we ask for your name, organisation (if applicable), and email when you register. We need this information to ensure everything runs smoothly and give you all the details you need. If applicable, we will also send out relevant resources following the webinar.
