Lucy joined in February 2024 and provides support to the Children and Young People's team.
Lucy brings a diverse range of experiences from the mental health, family violence, and older people's sectors. She previously worked on research about ethical issues in aged care, exploring the potential impact of Communities of Practice or Clinical Ethics Committees. Most recently, Lucy worked at a women’s refuge, offering support to individuals fleeing domestic abuse. Additionally, she has experience in project management, mental health programme design, commissioning, and event planning.
These experiences have grown Lucy’s passion to remove barriers so all people can lead a life they choose.
In her spare time Lucy enjoys hiking, particularly in the Peak District, as well as traveling and attending live music events.
