Change that leads to better lives

Franki Williams, Associate

Franki Williams

Franki has worked as a teacher, manager and leader in special educational needs. This includes working in both the specialist and general further education sectors. Franki has expertise in developing personalised study programmes for learners with the label of profound and multiple disabilities and autistic young people that prepare them for successful outcomes in adult life.

Franki has led the development of innovative further education provision that embraces and promotes diversity and inclusion, principles that are at the core of her professional practice. She now uses that experience to support the SEND sector through quality improvement activities such as training, consultancy and producing national guidance, such as the 2019 RARPA Guide for the Education and Training Foundation.

Franki is a qualified Level 7 leadership coach and coaches delegates on the Natspec SEND Leadership Programme and in her own capacity as a consultant. Franki uses person centred approaches across all aspects of her work and continues to learn about herself and the world from the amazing young people and practitioners she continues to meet.
