Change that leads to better lives

Bob Kitchin, Associate

Bob Kitchin

Bob is a grandad/single dad who loves helping to make the world a more mentally healthy place – improving mental health literacy and removing environmental and systems barriers for people experiencing mental health challenges.

Bob has worked in community based mental health for over 30 years - starting in residential settings, specialising in cross-cultural mental health, and working in Southern Africa for several years. For over 15 years he has supported people with mental health conditions into employment, both has a practitioner, then leading a fast-growing mental health and employment charity in the London region. He loves working with people and organisations to shift mindsets and open positive changes that just make things work better for everyone.

Bob currently works as an independent mental health trainer. Much of his work focusses on suicide prevention, young peoples’ wellbeing, and mental health in the workplace. As an NDTi Associate Bob helps deliver the Strengthening the Circle programme, Autistic Sensory Environment Assessments, and wellbeing training for staff.
