On 11 March 2022, the PfA team delivered an online event to showcase not only what the PfA team has achieved, but also to celebrate some of the fantastic things that are going on around the country to support young people with additional needs to have a good life.
Despite often having the same aspirations as their peers, young disabled people are less likely to achieve paid employment, independent living, good health and community inclusion as they move into adulthood.

This supportive tool is to promote consideration of the four Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) outcomes as part of EHC planning across the age ranges.
The purpose of the demonstration site project is to show what is possible in delivering the PfA agenda and to develop exemplar practice so that all authorities can learn from and replicate them.
