This inclusion toolkit was created for Dudley by NDTi in September 2022, following publication of their Public Health Annual Report on Inclusion in 2020.
Inclusion is a broad term that means different things to different people. Ultimately it is about everyone belonging and having a sense of purpose.
Within this toolkit, you will find practical tools, activities, questions, and conversation tools. It is a call to action to all individuals, teams, and organisations to be active participants in the ongoing development of a culture of inclusion in Dudley.
This inclusion toolkit was written by Peter Bates (Associate), Alice McColl (Development Lead – Children & Young People) and Paul Gutherson (Development Lead – Ageing & Older People) at the National Development Team for Inclusion. The resource was developed in collaboration with Jill Edwards (Public Health Manager), Harpreet Sohal (Senior Health Improvement Practitioner and Sukhneet Athwal (Health Improvement Practitioner) at Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, alongside a working group of representatives from Dudley statutory and voluntary sectors.
