Who is this webinar for: The event is for In-Control Members, Partners in Policy Making and Adult Social Care colleagues engaged with Social Care Futures. It highlights the critical importance of those working with children and young people with SEND having a shared approach to supporting the best possible outcomes for them, regardless of whether they work in children’s or adult services.

There will be three sessions within the event that will provide key information to support Preparing for Adulthood for children and young people with SEND. There will also be an opportunity to consider future activities, with further events or development opportunities where participants identify issues that they wish to follow up.

The programme includes:

  • PFA Outcomes across the age ranges for children and young people with SEND
  • What is happening now for young people with SEND and their families – Interactive session
  • Participation and Co-Production – including how best practice Meets the revised inspection framework

Colleagues will be invited to complete a brief questionnaire in advance to inform the interactive element of the event.

If you have any advance questions on PFA please send these to richard.holland@in-control.org.uk who is collating questions and issues for this webinar.

You can type questions live on the webinar and Richard will take as many as possible in the timescale. Please keep your questions short and general. We will try to theme questions, so we have a range of the issues of concerns.
