Future Care Provision in Hawick

The National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) was commissioned by Scottish Borders Council and the Scottish Borders Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) to undertake some early engagement work with the Hawick community and key stakeholders regarding views about the development of a care village in the area and options for health and social care provision in the future.

This report details the results of that engagement which will be used to inform the future plans for the area and the development of a more detailed business case. Scottish Borders recognise that this engagement is not a one off process and ongoing conversations will be take place using the principles of co-production to build on this work and inform future plans.
