The Black Country is breaking down boundaries with a combined SEND Employment Forum (SEF), uniting efforts to remove barriers and open doors to supported internships for young people.
That was the thinking behind the creation of the Black Country SEND Employment Forum. With colleges and services operating across local boundaries, there was a clear opportunity to collaborate, share learning, and tackle common challenges, especially around increasing the number of supported internships for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
