The Circles of Support for People with Dementia Project in Mid Devon is running a free event ‘Memory Aware Mid Devon’ to provide information and advice on dementia and how people with dementia can be best supported to live well in our communities.
The event will be held on Saturday the 15th September 2012, which is Dementia Awareness Day.
Anyone who wants to know more about dementia and living with memory problems is welcome to come along to the Arts Centre in East Street, Crediton. Visitors can drop in anytime between 10am and 1pm.
Local groups, organisations and businesses in Mid Devon who support or provide services for people living with dementia and their carers should contact Alison to discuss how they can participate.
