Change that leads to better lives

Updating the Advocacy Code of Practice and Advocacy QPM discussion sessions

QPM Sessions

NDTi is updating the Advocacy Code of Practice and Advocacy QPM to ensure they are as robust as they can be in supporting advocacy providers in their delivery of high-quality, independent advocacy.

We want to talk to advocates and advocacy organisations about the updates. We are holding a series of online discussions where we will explore the updates and seek the views of those working in independent advocacy. We want to hear from organisations that already have QPM and those that haven’t. There will be a maximum of 15 people per focus group so that we can have full conversations together and hear from everyone. To register please visit our Eventbrite registration page here.

Dates and times are:

Wednesday, 9 August 2023, 10.00-12.00

Friday, 11 August 2023, 12.00-14.00

Tuesday, 15 August 2023, 10.00-12.00

Thursday, 17 August 2023, 12.00-14.00

Thursday, 24 August 2023, 10.00-12.00

Wednesday, 30 August 2023, 12.30-14.30

We want to find out:

  • What you like in the current Advocacy Code of Practice
  • What you think we can do to improve the current Advocacy Code of Practice
  • What works well in the current QPM (standards, workbook, process)
  • What can we do to improve the current QPM

Before coming to the focus group, it would be helpful for you to review the Code of Practice the QPM workbook and QPM timeline

Thank you for your support – we’re looking forward to meeting with you.
