NDTi exists to make change happen - change that leads to people having better lives.

NDTi Latest News

* People with Learning Disabilities Still Lack Security, Choice and Control in Housing
Two new reports have been published today by the National Development team for Inclusion (NDTi) to help address the problem of people with learning disabilities not getting equal access to housing or having their housing rights respected.

The two reports are:

Supported Living – Making the Move , which highlights obstacles that stop people from living in their own homes in the ways that they want, and describes options and strategies so that people can use the full range of housing options available, such as home ownership and the private rented sector.

The Real Tenancy Test
,
which has been written to help commissioners and housing providers ensure a tenancy is genuine, meets national guidance and standards and that people’s rights are respected.

* Introducing the Boundaries Clock. We have developed the Boundaries Clock to help people manage their professional boundaries whilst meeting safeguarding obligations and promoting inclusion. For further information, click here.

* As part of Yorkshire and Humberside's programme to deliver best practice and outcomes on employment for people with mental health problems and learning disabilities, the NDTi has been commissioned to offer planning support to Local Authorities.
