The National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) was appointed as the independent evaluation partner of The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Trial in Learning Disability and Autism in partnership with bemix and My Life My Choice.

We are pleased to share a final evaluation report of the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Trial in Learning Disability and Autism.

This evaluation report focuses on the data collected about the training packages that were trialled. There are two more reports to follow with learning about:

  • The involvement of people with lived experience in the delivery of training, including their remuneration.
  • The challenges, barriers and possible facilitators related to the delivery of the training and the implementation of learning from the training.

Hi

I am a trainer in health & social care, our company has recently precured some eLearning on this but looking at this it doesn't really look like eLearning will cut it, when will we know more on the codes of practice etc... and where to access the necessary training in this as trainers

We are a group of family carers of people with Learning disabilities and we employ people through personal budgets. Is there anywhere we can access the Oliver McGowan training for our staff?
Thank you
Sara
