Whether you are redesigning services, responding to inspection feedback, or building a culture of engagement, coproduction (or cocreation, or living design) isn’t just a buzzword. It’s the most effective way to create services that work for the people who use them, and with the people who know them best.
We help organisations embed coproduction in ways that are practical, powerful, and tailored to your context. Our work supports all age groups and support needs across statutory, delivery and community organisations and throughout the UK.
Why Coproduction?
- Better supports (services), better outcomes: Coproduction ensures services reflect real needs and aspirations, not assumptions. It’s how you move from ‘doing to’ to ‘doing with’.
- Value for money: By focusing resources where they matter most, coproduction helps you make smarter decisions with limited budgets.
- Fresh thinking: Working with people with who draw on services unlocks new ideas, new energy, and new ways of working.
- Staff satisfaction: Teams involved in meaningful engagement delivers higher morale and stronger purpose.

Real impact real stories
Strategy development
Hertfordshire County Council’s coproduction board commissioned us to support the first ever county-wide Physical Disability Strategy. We engaged with over 300 disabled people, including people with physical disabilities, chronic fatigue and acquired brain injuries, and their families and carers. The commissioner said, “We couldn’t have done this without you”.
Day service redesign
We supported two day services in Ealing to codesign a new outcomes based approach to their support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with dementia.
Sounding board facilitation
We facilitate the NHS Older People’s Sounding Board and themed conversations on behalf of NHS England. As an example, from day one we were enabling older people and carers to shape the Frailty Improvement Collaborative. Their voices were heard, valued, and reflected with clarity and purpose.
