“Disabled people can do anything if they put their mind to doing it”, says David, a Supported Intern at the National Museums Liverpool (NML).
As part of his internship, David delivers workshops for school groups, including sessions on the Iron and Bronze Ages and toys.
In this video, you’ll hear from:
- Jillian Ireland, Housekeeping Manager, and Meghan Riley, Visitor Experience Lead at NLM, on the positive impact of supported internships including how it has influenced their recruiting process.
- David, alongside his Job coach Debby Fox, shares his experience at NML and the skills he has learned.
Harry has also done a blog and interviewed interns from his former school in a video.
