This new short film, Supported Internships for Young People, created as part of the Internships Work programme, follows young people with SEND as they challenge assumptions, share their experiences, and show what’s possible when they get the right support into work.
Featuring Emma Stone, Karla Harriott, and Rebecca Davies, the film brings forward their voices as they share:
- What they are proud of
- How supported internships have helped them
- Why working is meaningful to them
This short film embodies the core values of the Internships Work programme and sends a clear message: all young people want to work, can work, and have always had the potential within them — they simply need the right support to unlock it.
The short film premiered at the Internships Work Conference, on Tuesday 24 February 2026.
