This information is for Local Authorities receiving the Supported Internship (SI) grant award as part of the Internships Work programme. These also apply to 12 SI Pilot sites.
On this page you will find a summary of the grant requirements for Year 4 and deadlines relating to these submissions. Please make sure these dates are noted, added to your calendar and/or bookmark this webpage for reference.

Monday 9 June 2025: Grant Offer Letter
It is recommended that you submit earlier if possible as we will process the documents as they are returned. NDTi may be in the position to make payments before this date; so the earlier you submit, the sooner you will receive the payment.
The letter was emailed to your named Authorised Signatory, with your Finance Lead and Activity Lead copied in.
Monday 29 September 2025: Q1 & Q2 Report Combined
A short summary of your activity between April and September 2025; and declare any underspend and make arrangements for its return, if any funds are not going to be used before the end of the financial year.
A reminder and link to the SI Grant online form and a copy of the questions for reference will be emailed to the Activity Lead one month before the deadline.

Monday 31 October 2025: SEND Employment Forum Survey
The survey will be released in August and will help us better understand SEND Employment Forums being implemented across England as part of Internships Work and give us insight on how we can sustain them post-March 2026. If you are a member of a current SEND Employment Forum, we would like to hear from you.
Please complete the survey by Monday, the 31 October. It should not take more than 15 minutes.
Monday 19 January 2026: Q3 Report and Baseline Survey
A short summary of your activity between October and December 2025; and declare any underspend and make arrangements for its return.
You will also be asked to provide data around KPIs as part of the survey.

Monday 30 March 2026: End of Year Report and SEND Employment Forum Survey
A detailed report about grant activity covering activity from April 2025 – March 2026 and a rough outline beyond the programme end.
A reminder and link to the SI Grant and SI Pilot online form and a copy of the questions for reference will be emailed to the Activity Lead.
We will also be sending a SEND Employment Forum survey. If you are a member of a current SEND Employment Forum, we would like to hear from you. Please complete the survey by Monday the 30th March 2026. It should not take more than 10 minutes.
Monday 27 April 2026: Y4 / Y3 Pilot Statement of Grant Usage
Statement to confirm spend and be signed by Chief Financial Officer.
A reminder and blank template will be emailed to the Activity Lead at least one month before the deadline.
Other Requirements
As a grant recipient, you will also need to complete:
> a re-run of the Baseline Survey to capture SI, employer and job coach data
> regional network event feedback forms
> LA support feedback
> SEND Employment Forum surveys
> your Action Plan (to be updated regularly and shared with your Regional Lead)
