In March 2026 we had the chance to visit Greenlight Safety and Training, one of Bristol’s sites piloting supported internships for young people without EHCPs.
Aisha did her supported internship with Greenlight Safety and Training and in the video she shares what she has gained from the supported internship, how she has grown and what she wants to do next.
Despite some nerves around construction being a male dominated industry, Aisha is now hoping to do an apprenticeship in bricklaying or project maintenance and one day will be starting her own business. Aisha shows young people can do any job and we can’t wait to see the Aisha Construction Company.
