What makes NDTi different is the breadth and depth of what we bring. Our work reaches across health, social care, education, employment, housing, young people’s lives, community life and the systems that shape people’s opportunities. We bring together development support, research, evaluation, learning, leadership, policy influence, voice and participation, co-production and practical support to local and national programmes. 

We often work where systems feel stuck, where people’s voices have not been heard clearly enough, or where good ideas need help to become action. We listen carefully, build trust, join things up, and help people and organisations see what may be possible. Our strength is not only in delivering programmes. It is in how we join up insight, relationships and action. 

NDTi has changed and adapted over time, as any organisation doing this kind of work should. We have grown new areas of work, learned from what has ended, invested in new ideas, and stayed close to our purpose and values. Many of our strongest developments have come from listening to people, families, communities, commissioners and partners, then finding practical ways to respond. 

Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Our impact comes through the skill, care, honesty and relationships of our staff, associates, Board members, partners and people with lived experience.
