A week of hope and learning: Small Supports lunchtime series

Discover an exciting series of events about Small Supports and taking a person centred, local approach to reshaping support for people with complicated lives.

The National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) is inviting everyone passionate about person cented, local and small care solutions to join a powerful week of online events.  We will explore the transformative potential of Small Supports, an approach designed to support people with complex lives.

Three core lunchtime sessions, choose one or join all

Running from Tuesday 4 to Thursday 6 November, 2025, this free online series offers a deep dive into the philosophy, mechanics, and future of Small Supports. Each session is chaired by a leading voice in social care and offers a unique lens into how these organisations are reshaping support systems across the UK.

  • What does it take? The mechanics | NDTi
    • Wednesday 5 November, 12noon-1.30pm
    • Shona McFarlane shares insights from Leeds City Council’s journey with Small Supports, exploring the systems and structures that make them work.

Whether you’re a professional, a family member, or simply curious about inclusive care, this week of events offers a chance to connect, learn, and shape the future of support.

Register now to attend one, two, or all three sessions via Zoom. Each promises rich discussion, practical insights, and a hopeful vision for inclusive support.
