He has worked for the National Autistic Society on a project around the autism diagnosis pathway, and also as interim CEO of an autism charity based in Cumbria. Nick was also involved in codeveloping and in delivering one of the four national Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training pilot schemes.
Nick delivers autism awareness training for a range of professionals, including social workers and NHS professionals. He is co-chair of his local Autism Partnership Board, and is also involved in developing and delivering peer-led post-diagnostic support for autistic adults
