Michael has held significant roles in higher education, including course leadership, curriculum development, and staff development, and has worked as a pedagogy and policy consultant. Currently, Michael is the Principal Teaching Fellow in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Imperial College London, leading development across the Primary Care curriculum.
Passionate about collective agency and community empowerment, Michael mentors young and marginalised individuals and is an active scholar-activist. Recognised with the National Teaching Fellow award by Advance HE, Michael continues to drive positive change through innovation and collaboration.
