Martha’s interests focus on human freedom and what that means to people.
She has an academic background in interdisciplinary research on freedom and dementia/caring. She is also a compassion-focused counsellor, trainer and mindfulness teacher working with charities and initiatives whose values centre on inclusion.
Her work at NDTi involves her in the evaluation of a pilot project that expands the Small Supports initiative to people living with dementia in Scotland.
Martha’s interest in listening draws her into reading and writing poetry. This is both an act of self-compassion and a delight to share with others who can then also experience the benefit.
