Laura has worked in the field of education, social care and health for the last 30 years. She has expertise in the strategic co-development and implementation of services for children and young people with children and young people.
Laura was CEO of the Donaldson Trust in Linlithgow for just over ten years. During that time, she worked with children and young people, parents, schools, health professionals and local authorities to successfully develop a number of services for children, young people and adults.
Prior to this Laura working with Emirati families in the Middle East assisting them to develop local services for local children and the children of expatriates with additional support needs. Laura has two grown up children who are neurodivergent and both living their best life independently.
