Jo is passionate about creating environments where people are heard and supported to use their skills and talents to live good lives. She has several years of experience helping public, private and third‑sector organisations, as well as social enterprises, develop sustainable, person‑centred service models that contribute to healthy, vibrant communities.
Jo has led and supported social change projects across multiple organisations, using meaningful qualitative and quantitative measures to understand the impact of interventions in people‑centred services. She is skilled in system‑change methods, including systems thinking, and helps individuals and organisations transform their services to become more person‑centred.
She volunteers with a local Community Interest Company that works with young people and adults with learning differences through creative arts and theatre. Jo can often be found performing on stage or running residential programmes in the Lake District, both experiences she finds hugely rewarding.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys spending time in nature, often walking along Morecambe promenade with her dog, or pottering in the garden.
