In the 20 years prior to that after qualifying as RNLD in 1993 Dave worked as a manager in social services in Leicestershire, Northumberland and North Tyneside.
In his final local authority role Dave managed all direct provision, social work and commissioning for adults with learning disability and or autism.
Dave served on the board of Inclusion North for over ten years and is now a trustee at Recovery Connections.
Dave has particular interests in smaller providers, bespoke provision, work with people who have been labelled as challenging, social enterprise, and rural service provision.
He lives in rural Northumberland.
