Cath is an experienced senior professional, working in the voluntary sector and local government for 40 years.
Cath worked in social care for 33 years with 21 years as a Director of Adult Social Services. Responsibilities included adult social care, public health, housing, regeneration and community safety. Cath also brings experience at a national level through ADASS as a Trustee, regional chair, Co-Chair of the Resources Network and Co-chair of the EDI Network.
She has a strong commitment to asset-based approaches and introduced Local Area Co-ordination whilst Director at Derby and promoted Asset Based Community Development whilst Director at Leeds.
Cath has a strong track record of achieving transformation away from institutional models of care to community models and is strongly committed to equality, diversity and supporting inclusive services.
