Change that leads to better lives

Real Homes Learning and Development Programme

For organisations and providers that support people in housing or in their own homes

This 5 day programme enables your organisation to develop your skills and provision to

  • Understand and apply housing rights for people in different types of housing and homes
  • Ensure people have choice and control around their own lives whilst maintaining duty of care and appropriate use of the Mental Capacity Act
  • Engage with the people you support and their families and community

The programme includes an independent review with staff and people who use your services to contextualise and benchmark your support. Our team will help you to develop an action plan that ensures you are improving services whilst meeting your legal requirements for your support provision.

It can be useful for you if you:

  • Want to demonstrate your services are responsive and well led
  • Face challenges in some of your services
  • Are developing or transitioning some new services
  • Are preparing for CQC registration or inspection
