Change that leads to better lives

Our Partners, My Life My Choice, win the Charity of the Year Award

In recognition of their fantastic campaigning work helping people with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire to live the life that they choose, My Life My Choice (MLMC) recently won the Charity of the Year Award 2016 at the Oxfordshire Charity and Volunteer Awards ceremony at Oxford Town Hall.

As well as talking at our Public Health England Learning Disability Conference in 2016, MLMC’s work is having an increasing impact at a national level where members are included on the Guideline Committees at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

The award has been well deserved, and recognises that their members' voices and experiences have been invaluable in campaigning for improved healthcare for people with learning disabilities.
