Change that leads to better lives

Not a One Way Street – NDTi Team Up with Community Catalysts on an Exciting New Project

We are delighted to be working with Community Catalysts on this exciting research project which will commence in early 2011.

The project has been commissioned by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation as part of their Better Life programme.

The primary aim of this joint research project will be to identify and promote the various ways in which older people with high support needs can and do take up positive and enabling roles within models of mutual support and reciprocity.

We will examine such models within the context of the Big Society, creative support options resulting from personalisation in the UK, as well as exploring overseas models and practices. We will identify what works and what does not work, and highlight the critical success factors for the further development of such models.
