Change that leads to better lives

Advocacy Review - Join in the surveys and focus groups

NDTi, alongside our partner organisations, Speakup Self Advocacy, People First Independent Advocacy, Bringing us Together and the Challenging Behaviour Foundation are undertaking a review of inpatient advocacy for people with a learning disability and autistic people in mental health, learning disability or autism specialist hospitals. This review has been commissioned by NHS England and NHS Improvement.

Advocacy Review 01

Fill in the Surveys

As a part of this review, we are seeking the views of managers of independent advocacy services, practicing advocates and local authority commissioners of independent advocacy. It is so important that we hear your views and experiences as well as explore your thoughts about how independent advocacy can continue to be strengthened for people with a learning disability and autistic people who are inpatients in mental health settings.

We are launching 3 separate anonymous surveys:

Advocates Survey

Advocacy Managers Survey

Commissioners Survey

The surveys are extended until 24th November.

Please do share this information amongst your networks – we really want to hear from as many of you as possible.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete these.
