Parent & Carer Workshop 2, Time to Talk Next Steps
Thursday 13 January 2022, 12:00-14:00 | This session is only open to those taking part in the Time to Talk Next Steps programme.
Time to Talk Next Steps provides free support for young people aged 16-25 years in England with additional needs. In partnership with the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi), Contact are providing support, information and workshops for parents and carers about transition to adulthood.
Workshop 2: Education and Employment (13 January 2022, 12:00-14:00)
- Education and training options, rights to education up to age 25
- EHC plans from age 14 to 25 and writing PfA outcomes in EHCPs
- Support for young people without EHCPs
- Transport and travel training
- Moving into employment
