The South West Health Network

Improving health outcomes for people with learning disabilities in the South West

The NDTi is working with NHS England to run a health network for practitioners, managers and commissioners in the South West. The aim of the network is to reduce the health inequalities that people with learning disabilities experience in the area with a particular focus is on:

  • The health elements regarding people with learning disabilities in the NHS England 10-year plan
  • The findings and recommendations of the LeDeR project

The network encourages the sharing of good practice and resources across the South West and is action focused.

The first meeting was held in November 2018, with further meetings in February and May 2019. The next meeting is on the 12th September click here to book a place

The network is open to senior practitioners, commissioners, managers and others who are interested in the health of people with learning disabilities and who work in the South West.
