Sarah Storer

Sarah is an Independent Consultant, with over 30 years’ experience working in care, in the public, voluntary and private sectors.

She has a wide range of experience in supporting teams through significant change & development, to provide improved person-centred community-based support options for individuals.

Sarah has supported people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental ill health, older adults and those with long-term conditions. She has also worked closely with carers, and passionately believes in involving the whole family holistically when developing support options.

Sarah is experienced in engaging & building effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals & organisations, ensuring a co-produced approach and collaborative working. Sarah has a strong belief in a strength-based approach to social and health care.

Sarah values the principles of NDTi and was encouraged to work with them as an Associate, having worked alongside NDTi colleagues in the development of Community Led Support in Derby, and in the modernisation of services for people with a learning disability. Sarah brings a calm, efficient & supportive approach to activity. She is a volunteer with a local Dementia group, supporting nearly 200 adults with dementia and their carers.

When she’s not working, Sarah enjoys long walks, the countryside, travelling and cooking.
