Change that leads to better lives

Christine Lewington, Associate

Christine Lewington

Christine has worked in social care within the voluntary and local government sectors for over 25 years and has headed a Strategic Commissioning Unit working across adults, children and health as either joint or lead commissioner.

She has demonstrated a strong value base of co-production throughout her career, and led a number of redesigns to create new models of care for; older people, people with learning disabilities, carers and children within residential care, championing outcome based commissioning as well as an established and innovative outcomes based quality assurance model.

Christine has in depth knowledge and understanding of market conditions for care providers, including the formulation of strategic place based planning, market opportunities and pricing for care and has been a strong advocate for system wide solutions, building relationships with a number of stakeholders; clinical commissioning groups, acute providers, education, housing, the third and voluntary sector and importantly people who use services and their carers.

Christine is interested in bringing the elements of co-production and community led support together with commissioning through the lens of outcome based commissioning and/or health and care system redesign
