Short breaks for Disabled Children
New Briefing Papers on Short Breaks for disabled children
The Department for Education commissioned Lancaster University and the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi) to evaluate the short breaks Pathfinder initiative. As part of that, DfE asked NDTi and CeDR to write short briefing papers to summarise the key learning points in order to help local commissioners and providers make use of the findings from the evaluation.
These papers are now available and cover four subjects:
1. Commissioning
2. The range of short breaks
3. Family participation
4. Personalised funding.
Copies of those papers as well as the flyer & the press release can be accessed on the right from Related Downloads.
