The independent broker role and training requirements
A summary report
This short Skills for Care report, published 2009, is the main output from the project commissioned by Skills for Care, and undertaken by the NDTi, to define the training needs of brokers. It also sets out a definition of the support broker role which won support from the major national stakeholder organisations. As such, it offer the most clear and widely supported conception of the broker role currently available in England.
