Dementia Awareness Week, 20-26th May 2012

NDTi fully supports the aims of Dementia Awareness Week, organised by the Alzheimer’s Society to raise awareness and understanding about dementia, and to encourage people to ‘remember the person’ behind dementia. We are working directly with many people with dementia and their families and friends across a number of our projects to find out what works in supporting people with dementia to live well within their communities – contributing to family, work, community and civic life.  More information can be found on our Major Projects page.  Rob’s recent blog is also worth a read – Five Things to Learn from Panorama’s Dementia Expose.
