Prime Minister Responds to Letter Demanding Action After Winterbourne View

On August 5th, the Prime Minister replied to the letter of June 20th from 86 organisations, setting out a plan of action to address the problems identified in the recent Panorama programme. The PM has said he was ‘appalled’ and wants a ‘joint plan of action ..... both locally and nationally to drive improvement ... and influence future policy and practice.
