Community Mapping
ONE DAY WORKSHOP
BIRMINGHAM, JUNE 19th
This has been a popular and well-received training day, which we have delivered to a wide range of organisations and groups as part of our NDTi Inclusion Training Programme.
We are offering a one-day workshop on how to map local community resources and opportunities and make connections. This training is generic and applicable to any organisation or group working with or supporting excluded people.
Community Mapping workshop on June 19th will address themes such, as for example:
- Explore definitions and understanding about community, inclusion, access and welcome
- Prompt thinking about how well your organisation is doing in promoting real inclusion for people needing support in their lives
- Develop mapping skills to identify and make inclusive community connections
- Promote community building skills and best practice
- Share good practice and offer opportunities to network with others
Part of the day will include a community mapping exercise in the local area. We are keen that everyone takes part in this exercise so if you have any questions about this or need any support to participate, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance.
Please find a copy of the flyer & the application form on the right.
