Alison Seabrooke

Alison Seabrooke was appointed chief executive of Community Development Foundation in 2005, and has successfully steered the organisation from a non-departmental public body, to a charity and social enterprise.

Seabrooke has substantial experience working with community-based organisations, and led the development of the thriving Regen Centre in North Yorkshire. She was previously a civil servant at the Home Office and Department for Education of Skills, and is an expert at working with the public, private and voluntary sector to deliver community-focused solutions, leading to CDF being independently ranked in 2009 at the top of over 200 government grant-givers by the Directory of Social Change.
